Abstract |
This layer is based on an updated version of the extant vegetation dataset from DEC (2006) 'Reconstructed and Extant Distribution of Native Vegetation in the Central West Catchment' NSW Department of Environment and Conservation, Dubbo. It has been combined with rasters of Overcleared Mitchell Landscapes; 40m Buffers of 3rd Order and Above Streams; and 100m Buffers of National Parks. It was prepared to guide local government councils in broadly identifying Environmentally Sensitive Areas (ESAs) and is not suitable for use at the property scale. VIS ID 3813 |

The updated extant vegetation dataset was combined with rasters of Mitchell Landscapes, an ordered River Layer and lands reserved under the National Parks & Wildlife Act 1974. This report was provided with the data.; ; Fields in the Attribute Table relate to the following;; BVT_code & BVT Label - follows DEC 2006; Riparian BVT- BVTs closely associated with rivers; EEC BVT- BVTs likely to contain Endangered Ecological Communities; Overcl BVT- BVTs that are over 70% cleared in the Central West CMA; Rare BVT- BVTs with less than 1000 ha remaining in the Central West CMA; LS Overcleared- Vegetation on Mitchell Landscapes that are at least 70% cleared.; Riv veg- Vegetation within 40m of 3rd Order or above streams; Nps Veg- Vegetation within 100m of a National Park; HCV_Class- Final Vegetation Class, ranked in order of importance EEC, Overcl_BVT, Rare_BVT, LS_Overclear, Riparian_veg, Nps Veg, Other Native Vegetation |
