Abstract

Vulnerable vegetation of the Western Riverina. The Current Vegetation - 2002 mapping of native vegetation depicts the native vegetation that currently exists within the WRNVR (Western Riverina Native Vegetation Region), according to the best and most recently available mapping products. These mapping products comprised several existing, modified and new spatial data sets compiled over the period from 1998 through to 2002. Decisions were made by the Western Riverina Regional Vegetation Committee (WRRVC) on the categories of vegetation types to be used to describe the vast ecological diversity of the WRNVR in a summarised format. These summarised vegetation types permitted the union of several disparate data sets. These broad groupings of vegetation types use the dominant overstorey species as the key label. VIS_ID 4095
