NSW Vegetation Integrity Modelling - v2 (Eastern NSW)

Located within this asset are the outputs of NSW Vegetation Integrity Modelling version 2 (December 2024). This is currently the most up-to-date version of the modelling. To access previous versions, navigate back to the NSW Vegetation Integrity landing page - NSW Vegetation Integrity.

Spatial breakdowns:

The model outputs are aggregated into regional snapshots by Interim Biogeographic Regionalisation for Australia (IBRA) V7.0 bioregions for eastern NSW as follows:

  • North Regional Snapshot: South Eastern Queensland, NSW North Coast, New England Tablelands

  • South Regional Snapshot: Sydney Basin, South Eastern Highlands, South East Corner, Australian Alps.

Data details:

  • Data type: raster, GeoTIFF, 32bit floating point

  • CRS: EPSG: 3308 - GDA94 / NSW Lambert

  • Pixel size: 90m

  • Pixel values: 0 (low VI) to 100 (high VI) - (values rounded to two decimal places and all negative values rounded to zero)

  • NoData value: -9999.

Data structure:

Each zip folder includes:

  • A README document containing filename conventions and relevant metadata.

  • The 50th percentile (median) model for Vegetation Integrity and partial Vegetation Integrity models in three different input data time periods: All data, Period 1 (2016 - 2024) and Period 2 (2000 - 2024). Note that the All data period also contains 2.5th, 10th, 90th and 97.5th percentile models.
