Predictions of Landholder Preferences for Conservation Covenants

This data set provides statistical predictions of;

(1) the probability that a landholder would consider a conservation covenant on their property,

(2) the financial compensation per hectare per year that a landholder would require to put a conservation covenant on their property, and

(3) the proportion of their property a landholder would be willing to put a conservation covenant on, for private properties within the Central & Southern Tablelands, Central Coast, North Coast, Northern Tablelands, Northwest Slopes, and South Coast Koala Modelling Regions (KMRs) for in-perpetuity and 10-year covenants.

These predictions were derived from a statistical model fitted to survey data collected from land holders across the study area at the property level and then aggregated to the Australian Bureau of Statistics Statistical Area Level 1 spatial unit.
